The 4th edition of the Munster Cyclo Cross league kicks off with St Finbarr’s promotion on the 6th of October in a new location of Templemartin Co Cork. The series which has grown from strength to strength over the years has an expanded format this year; with leaders jerseys up for grabs for the elite men and women as always but this year with additional jerseys for the Juniors M40’s and M50’s and the B league.
The second round returns to Clonmel for the Clonmel CC promotion on the 20th of October in Powerstown Park. Greenmount CC in Limerick host a new event for 2019 with a view to becoming part of the league in 2020 at Limerick racecourse on the 27th of October. Revolution CC in Mallow host their ever-popular event in the park in Mallow on the 3rd of Nov.
De Ronde CC who hosted a great national championships at the start of the year have their event In Tramore Valley Park on the 17th of November. Upperchurch Drombane in Co Tipperary host the 5th round on the 1st of December. The Munster championships which doubles as round 6 will be hosted by Over the Hill CC in Watergrasshill in Co Cork on the 8th of December. Youghal CC which hosted a very popular race on the beach in the Co Cork seaside town in 2018 host the final race on the 29th of December which will be a great way to bring down the 2019 cross season in Munster
Munster Cycling are yet again the main sponsor for the series with Verge Sport sponsoring the leaders jerseys online entry for each race will open on www.munstercx.com , 2weeks before the opening race and then the week before each subsequent race.
